The European Central Bank (ECB) executive board member Benoît Coeuré informed on Thursday that eurozone’s highest monetary authority bought total of €9.8B (or $10.33B) bonds with avg maturity of 9 years.
Coeure said at Paris conference that ECB ‘will do this in a predictable, regular way.’ He added: ‘We are on track with the target.’
Monthly purchases of the ECB are €60B according to set program, buying government bonds, debt instrument from European Union institutions.
