According to the data provided by Slice Intelligence via e-receipt tracking, focused on digital commerce, expectations of Apple Watch orders over weekend reached 957,000 shoppers, what is even more than it was during iPhone or iPod initial offering.

Slice Intelligence analytics engine has direct access to the electronic receipts of more than 2 million Americans. In their panel were 9,080 shoppers who ordered an Apple Watch on Friday.

An average per consumer show 1.3 watches and for the price $503.83, what makes 1.24M watches already, in comparison with iPhone, which in 2007 sold its millionth smartphone after 74 days.

Approximately 62% of preorders were interested in the cheaper Sport model, with an average price of $382.83, mostly asking for Black Sport Band.
