Last day rumours about possible acquisition of Twitter by Google led to a rally on Twitter stocks, surpassing the level of $53 a share and reaching 6-month high. But is this a fact or only a rumour made up by someone?

First of all, is Google really that much interested in another social network project, which costs that much? Google has already tried Google Plus but the popularity has never been reached in such scale as the company wished, as well as android combo with GMail never leaving an opportunity for iOS users. How can Twitter assist in this case?

Moreover, the company costs would excess $30B, a pretty expensive way how 'not to solve' any of above-mentioned problems. And what about profit-making of Twitter? In addition, structure of this network is completely different one as Google was trying before, so it somehow does not fit in his plans.

We believe, that there is absolutely no reason for such deal and there hints are only rumours.
