Greece is something, what you need to follow these days. Some facts:
– Varoufakis is in conciliatory mood today
– Government seeks to fulfill very basic promises
– Germany has paid too much for the bailouts
– ECB doing its best to maintain its independence
– Would be helpful if ECB shows flexibility again
I'm going to assume that when he says "suspending election promises" he's referring to the threat of re-elections if Greece doesn't get its way.
If he's talking about promises made on the general elections then that's likely going to go down like a lead balloon
